Indian pace attack looks seamless now, Shaun Pollock reveals

Team India is gaining attention for cricket like never before. Bowlers in particular have been bouncing with performances both on the home pitches and outside the country. Former fast bowler from South Africa reckons the strong line-up in pace attack for India is the key.

The players like Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Ishant Sharma are their best in delivering the right balls at the right time. Pollock names these players in the current team to be the best picks across different formats. While there are back-up players such as Umesh Yadav, Navdeep Saini, and Shardul Thakur who have been proving themselves.

Pollock has taken 421 Test and 393 ODI wickets and recollects his memories back with the Indian side when he played. This former South Africa captain said that India had struggled to have a third or back-up bowler for supporting the then Indian pacers Javagal Srinath and Venkatesh Prasad. He also added that Bumrah told him about the competition among Indian bowlers.
