Hardik Pandya strategizes last-over win in T20 World Cup 2016

The current India all-rounder Hardik Pandya recollects his experiences while bowling the last over in a T20 World Cup against Bangladesh. This interesting win turned out the team’s promotion into the semi-finals in a big tournament.

Hardik Pandya played a key role in the win of T20 World Cup as he bowled the final over that led Bangladesh to leave their place out of semi’s. It was just 2 runs for Bangladesh to win off 3 balls, but Hardik made a trick which was then a thriller to watch.

The young all-rounder made a fruitful discussion between each ball of the final over. The discussion involving their then captain MS Dhoni and speedster Ashish Nehra, had different views. Ashish advised Hardik to bowl a bouncer to defend runs and MS suggested to see the ball dragging wider from the stumps.

Hardik bowled a wide ball away from stumps Mushfiqur Rahim mistimed the ball and was a catch out. Subsequently Pandya was successful in taking 2 wickets from the last 2 balls which turned to be a successful thriller.
