Bangladesh to host India women's team for white-ball series in July

In July, the Indian women’s cricket team will tour Bangladesh for a white-ball series, returning to the international stage. When Australia defeated the Harmanpreet Kaur-led team by five runs in the Women’s T20 World Cup semi-final in South Africa in February, that was the team’s last outing on the international stage.

The women’s wing chairperson of the Bangladesh Cricket Board was cited as saying, “Yes, we will be playing a white-ball series against India women’s national cricket team in July, and all the matches would be played at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, reports Live Cricket Score.

The Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium will host women’s international matches for the first time in 11 years, and all of the matches between India and Bangladesh will take place during the day. Bangladesh’s women’s team last competed here against South Africa in 2012.

The Indian team, which will play three ODIs and as many T20Is, will land in Dhaka on July 6th, it was noted. The three ODIs, which are a part of the 2022–25 ICC Women’s ODI Championship cycle, will be played on July 16, 19, and 22. The three T20 Internationals are set for July 9, 11, and 13.

The National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru recently hosted a High-Performance training and conditioning camp for the Indian squad, where men’s head coach Rahul Dravid and NCA head VVS Laxman gave them motivational speeches.
