The Eliminator, scheduled for May 27, will take place at the New International Cricket Stadium. The teams finishing third and fourth in the points table will compete in this knockout clash to keep their title hopes alive.
The same venue will also host Qualifier 2 on May 29, where the loser of Qualifier 1 will face the winner of the Eliminator for the second spot in the final.
Final Shifted from Bengaluru to Ahmedabad
Initially, Bengaluru had been selected as the host city for the IPL 2026 final. However, the BCCI later decided to move the marquee event to Ahmedabad due to certain requirements raised by local authorities and the state association that reportedly fell outside the board’s standard protocols.
As a result, the Narendra Modi Stadium — the world’s largest cricket venue — will now stage the title clash on May 31. Fans can expect a massive atmosphere for the season finale as the top two teams battle for the championship trophy.
