Ishan Kishan released from India Test squad

Ishan Kishan, the top wicketkeeper-batter for the Indian side, has returned home for personal reasons. Therefore, he won’t be playing in the forthcoming two-Test series against South Africa. Inducted into the main team is Kona Bharat, the captain of India ‘A’, who is presently in South Africa.

“Ishan Kishan, citing personal concerns, has asked to be excused from the BCCI’s next Test series against South Africa. As a result, the wicketkeeper was left out of the Test team. KS Bharat has been selected as a replacement by the men’s selection committee, the BCCI announced in a statement, reports Live Cricket Score.

After Bharat was handed five Test matches in which he failed to reach a single fifty, Kishan got his Test debut in the West Indies. In the Boxing Day Test, it is anticipated that KL Rahul will hold onto wickets due to Bharat’s poor technique against good pace bowling.
