The match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday was a special day for Kieron Pollard. With a new record of reaching 150 matches to play, Pollard became the first Mumbai Indians player to reach the new mark in the IPL.

The 5th match in the 13th season of IPL held in Abu Dhabi allowed Pollard to put on a special jersey, with 150 written on it. The special occasion also drew the fans with more pleasure by a tweet from MI quoting- The first player to represent us in 150 @IPL games. Take a bow, Polly.

The West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard has joined Mumbai Indians in 2010. He has played a total of 172 matches for Mumbai Indians. However, the other 22 matches have been in the Champions League representing the franchise.

Besides, Rohit Sharma has played 154 matches for MI and the current veteran CSK off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has played 158 matches for the Mumbai Indians.
