The International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket Committee headed by Anil Kumble has suggested that saliva ban is a good choice in the present situation of COVID-19 pandemic. However the committee has suggested the ICC panel to look into a sweat ban, as the committee feels sweat can be permitted to be used for ball shining in cricket.

The ICC panel discussed the game’s technical aspects when it met with its members virtually the last time, and addressed issues with the on-going pandemic.
