The big domestic clash of franchises has been indefinitely postponed since March, as the coronavirus crisis hit India and the rest of the world. BCCI along with fans was eagerly waiting to break out of uncertainty on this year’s IPL. With the close sources of BCCI hinting the tournament’s schedule, soon we might see an official plan.

In the recent unofficial report, it is that IPL will start on September 19 while the final may take place on November 8. Besides, many rumors pour in with UAE to be the venue for IPL 2020. The increasing covid-19 cases in India add to the location shift while the official statement is yet to come.

The final details are also expected to come out after the IPL Governing Council meets next week. Also, sources reveal that the franchises got an informal intimation about the plan. This much expected 51-day window of IPL 2020 might be a great success as it was for the past 12 editions, although with an unexpected delay.
