Mohammad Azharuddin plays wristy

It’s been 20 years since former batsman Mohammad Azharuddin stepped on the international cricket field. Under his captaincy, India played 174 ODIs and 47 Tests with wins of 90 and 14 respectively. After a long gap, Azharuddin took his bat and played some wristy shots in the cricket ground at Uppal, Hyderabad.

As a cricket fan during his tenure of cricketing career, one would enjoy seeing him play again. With a style that he played during the 1990’s, the same appeared in a video that Azhar posted on his Instagram account. He captioned the video with a title as ‘Knock knock… timing it like old times.’

He dressed up in a red t-shirt and grey shorts; while he appeared in front of the Mohammad Azharuddin stand in Rajiv Gandhi international stadium to show-off some stylish cricket shots.

Azharuddin is named to be India’s most successful batsman and captain. He quit cricket at the international level after being imposed on a lifetime ban after a match fixing scandal in the year 2000.
