Corona impact: No handshakes for South Africa players while on tour in India

After the corona news spread widely round the world, there have been a lot of precautions being taken. Many nations have been implementing utmost measures to keep the jeopardy away.

One of the recent moves that CSA (Cricket South Africa) has suggested to its team members is to have a fist bump instead of handshakes to reduce the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus. The 11-day tour in India has nothing more to prevent except the handshakes, said CSA.

South Africans have travelled through Dubai and New Delhi for the 3 ODI’s and will play in Dharamsala, Lucknow and Kolkata respectively. The team has been briefed on precautionary measures and CSA’s chief medical officer, Dr Shuaib Manjra, will be traveling with the team.

The same advice of No Handshakes will also be followed by England team members in Sri Lanka.
