Team India moves to Lord’s ahead of the second test

In the recent meeting of Asian Cricket Council (ACC), the executive board has not finalized the schedule for Asia Cup T20. Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan Papon had chaired the meeting along with BCCI president Sourav Ganguly (board member) and secretary Jay Shah (ex officio). This was the first continental meeting after the COVID-19 pandemic delisted all the current events and meetings.

The ACC board extended its decision on the schedule of Asia Cup T20 after a final decision on World Cup T20 is finalized. Pakistan Cricket Board would be hosting the Asia T20 WC, but with India’s restrictions on travel to Pakistan, there might be a change in venue.

The actual schedule of WC T20 is October-November, while the event might take place the next year. All the speculations might have an answer in the next board meeting of ICC, to discuss various issues including coronavirus handling during the play.
