plan set from Chahal, Captain Virat Kohli, and AB de Villiers

The IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) took place on 21 September at the Dubai International Stadium. The batting strokes of opener Jonny Bairstow and Manish Pandey seemed to bring a win for SRH in the second innings of the match. However, the twist turned RCB’s way later in the innings.

It was a massive turn around for SRH after they were at 121-2 while the Bairstow – Pandey duo kept up towards chasing the target of 164. Then Yuzvendra Chahal bowled to break the partnership, while Bairstow got out at 61. This turned the game for RCB as SRH got all out for a total of 153.

And more interesting was the ball that made SRH’s all-rounder, Vijay Shankar out. There was a plan set from Chahal, Captain Virat Kohli, and AB de Villiers. The trio had a strategy to get the wicket of Shankar who came to the crease after Bairstow moving back to the pavilion.  Chahal’s stunning delivery got implemented with a googly that crashed into the stumps while Shankar batted for the first delivery.
