WPL Season 3 Mini-Auction to Take Place in Bengaluru on December 15
The mini-auction ahead of the third season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is set to be held on December 15 in Bengaluru. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently notified the five franchises about the auction date and venue. 19 slots, including 14 for Indian and 5 for overseas players, can be filled during the auction, with a combined available purse of INR 16.7 crore, reports Live Cricket Score.
Each franchise is allowed a maximum spend of INR 15 crore and can form squads of up to 18 players. Teams can include a maximum of six overseas players in their squads.
