Suresh Raina applauds Laxman’s role in 2010 test win against Australia at Mohali

India batsman Suresh Raina reckons the older memories with VVS Laxman who has been a standard test batsman for the team. Raina applauds Laxman’s batting in 2nd innings in a test match against Australia that took place in 2010, at Mohali.

With Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and Sourav Ganguly during the late 90’s and 2000’s, Laxman had a great time to build the team with wins. As all are well aware, Laxman was a key player after recording himself with a certain cool attitude since he started his career in Cricket. But Raina said he saw anger from Laxman once in that test match at Mohali in 2010.

At a stage when the Hyderabad player Laxman struggled with back pain, he had Suresh Raina running for him. The by-runner was all set to run and dive if necessary to protect Laxman’s wicket. With some wristy-flicks Laxman played good cricket to battle a 1-wicket victory against the Aussies.
