Ravichandran Ashwin has taken 2 wickets

After laying a competitive score in the 1st innings, especially with Stoinis batting performance, Ashwin made his comeback in the bowling department with extraordinary performance. The Veteran India off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has taken 2 wickets in an over as the Kings XI Punjab when they walked to bat.

However, it was unfortunate that the experienced campaigner Ashwin had to leave the field just after finishing his first over. He has suffered a serious injury during the last ball of his first over.  The 5th over was bowled by Ashwin while the Delhi Capitals team captain Shreyas Iyer felt all the confidence in Ash, especially while being inside the power play.

Ashwin picked up Karun Nair and Nicholas Pooran during his 1st and 4th balls of his first over. LaterAshwin tried to dive for a single off Glenn Maxwell’s shot. However, Ashwin’s left shoulder hit hard on the turf, and he lay in pain on the ground after that.
